When you first walk through the doors of Piqua Granite & Marble, you will be greeted with warmth and kindness. Our family has the great privilege of honoring your family. Not only for your current generations, but for centuries of generations who will follow. There is no greater responsibility than paying final tribute to a loved one ~ creating a memorial which represents their life, their passions, their spirit and their soul.
At Piqua Granite and Marble, our goal ~ our purpose, is to make this process as seamless as possible, so that you and your family may grieve the death of love one with a peaceful heart. We will walk you through each phase with care and empathy. From start to finish, our team will ensure your memorial is crafted as if it were for one of our own; with honesty, integrity, gratitude and respect.
Piqua Granite & Marble Co., Inc. has continuously served the Greater Western Ohio Area since 1882. Although ownership has changed several times over the years, the core value of honoring family legacies with respect and integrity has always remained.
For the past 45 years, Piqua Granite & Marble Co., Inc. has been fortunate to remain within the same family hands. In 1972 Mr. Z.J. Obara purchased the company from the Lisk family. His wife, and current CEO, Mrs. Pat Obara, joined the business in 1985; and has continued Mr. O’s vision since his passing in 2000. With the next generation of the Obara family under careful training, Piqua Granite & Marble is positioned, and blessed, to continue honoring family legacies for many years to come.
Piqua Granite & Marble Co., Inc. has been located on the corner of Rt. 36 and Rt. 25 for over 39 years, and has been blessed to offer one of the largest inventory selections of styles, sizes and color in the greater Dayton region. From simple to unique, we can create anything your imagination can dream.
As one of the oldest operating business in the Greater Dayton Area, we recognize our longevity is simply due to the support of our surrounding communities.
Over the past 135 years, Piqua Granite has had the privilege of honoring multiple generations of families. For this we are truly grateful and try to give back to our surrounding communities by supporting our local Chamber, Schools, Fire and Police Departments, Churches and helping with Community Events.
